Year 8 - Africa

In the year 8 unit, Africa: Myths & Economics students explore the immense physical, historical,  economic and cultural diversity of Africa and how this relates to power and global interactions such as trade and international journalism. To explore the cultural diversity of Africa we chose seven groups of people to research. It is not possible to show all of the students’ work on the website so I have selected two presentations. One is about the much overlooked Dinka people of the Sudan and the other is of the Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania.
