Throughout the first semester the students have been investigating what is wonderful about the world around them. They have studied various river and glacial landscapes, looked at the processes that occur in these environments and the different types of landforms that are created. They have even used Virtual Reality googles to explore Yosemite National Park specifically focusing on landforms found there and the management to maintain this wonderful state park. To culminate this unit of inquiry the students researched an area that they were interested in, filled in a table of key information and created a model of their wonderful place. Over the next few days Ms. Mart will be adding the research grids and the tables of information to this site but for now please enjoy the photographs below of the students presenting their models at the mini exhibition.
