The students who have chosen to study International Relations have been exploring the different characteristics that have made Empires strong. The second phase of the investigation was to research a specific empire and to write down key events such as battles or specific methods of trade that made that country particularly influential. The groups then presented their findings and their peers wrote down the key points. The students will now be turning this information into an essay which argues whether military force is the most influential characteristic or not.
