Year 7 - Living Museum - Bronze Age Cities

Year 7 have explored the importance of specialisation in the complex development of civilisations in the Bronze Age Cities. They have explored five specific cities that developed focusing on what specialisations were needed to allow the cities to develop and work effectively. This project culminated in a 'Living Museum' in which students designed books of information about their focus city, created artefacts of their specific specialism and presented to parents and teachers as if they were curators in a museum.

The event was a huge undertaking and wouldn't have worked without the enthusiasm of the Year 7 Individuals and Societies teachers, the coordination of the support services and a willing bunch of Year 12s to help put up posters and draw beards on the Year 7s.
